"But the anointing which you have received of Him abideth in you..." (I John 2:27).
To serve, help or bless another by the Spirit of Christ.
"... but our sufficiency is of God; who also hath made us able ministers of his new testament..." (II Cor. 3:5-6).
The hill in the Old Testament in Jerusalem where God's presence dwelt. God's presence is now in His church - also called Mt. Zion.
"But ye are come unto Mt. Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem ... to the general assembly and church of the firstborn..." (Heb. 12:22-23).
The manifestation of God's presence and splendor to the spiritual and physical faculties of man.
"And it came to pass...that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not stand to minister...for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord." (I Kings 8:10-11).
The manifestation of God's will and truths to man.
"Wherefore I also ... making mention of you in my prayers; that, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him ..." (Eph. 1:15-17).
This term means teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the manifestations of the Holy Spirit (I Thess. 1:5; Rom. 15:19).
PRAYER FOR THE SICK
The word of God exhorts the church to pray for the sick. "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of the faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up ... pray one for another, that ye may be healed." (James 5:14-16).
I PETER 2:24 - "Who by his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: BY WHOSE STRIPES YE WERE HEALED."
PSALM 107:20 - "He sent his word and healed them..."
III JOHN 2 - "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth."
